This is a totally volunteer-run, non-profit songwriting contest. CSA is a 501(c)(3) charitable
organization.  All proceeds go toward prizes and to benefit CSA's education outreach programs through music.

( CSA is one of the oldest and most active songwriter organizations in the U.S.  Founded in 1979, CSA is a 501(c)(3) non-profit educational organization dedicated to improving the art and craft of original music.  CSA has run or participated in many songwriting and performance competitions across the U.S. and internationally.  CSA's current President is Grammy-winning songwriter Bill Perewho is the author of the industry-standard songwriting guide "Songcrafters; Coloring Book" )
