SPIRITSONG VOLUNTEERS
What are SpiritSong volunteers?
Very special hospice volunteers offering their very special gifts of music
to hospice patients and their families
If you have a gift of music you would like to share,
please call…our hospice patients need you…so come and make a difference in
your life and the life of someone else.
Training to become a hospice volunteer will be held
soon in many of our branch offices. Some of the topics covered include the
history and philosophy of hospice, the role of the volunteer, clinical
aspects of dying, communication skills, family dynamics, issues of
spirituality and religion, and grief and bereavement.
We are a statewide not-for-profit hospice agency
serving patients through local hospice teams throughout the state. For
